Where did the time go?

I've been with my DH for almost 9 years now.  In those 9 years, I got to know and love an amazing man.  Really, truly awesome guy.  When I first met him, I also got to meet a sweet little 15 month old girl.  My love grew for that little girl before I fell for her father.  I may not be her birth mother, and I would never take that away from her (regardless of my dislike for that woman), but I will always have love for her.  Today, she turned 10.  We have a double digit child in our home; crazy stuff right there.  Sometimes, being a step parent, you don't always get the credit where credit is due.  I'm okay with that as long as she grows up knowing she's loved.  Happy Birthday, Miss Olivia!!!

Thanks, Dr. Worm!  I should add she is the most amazing big sister too.  Nora lights up as soon as she enters the room.  I can see they will have a special bond forever, which is all I can ask for.

I know what you mean about time flying.  These little babies in a blink of an eye turn into extraordinary little people.  They are the best thing ever!

Sorry about that.  And thank you all ladies for the birthday wishes.  My DH makes makes these girls pretty well.
