Hi my name is Michelle.  I had my baby girl, Athena Jane 5/31/12 at 36 weeks, adjusted age 34 weeks.  She was diagnosed in utero with 22q deletion/DiGeorge Syndrome.  She endured 2 major open heart surgeries and passed away at 11 weeks on 8/28/12.  Prior to Athena, I had a little boy, Nathaniel who passed away 3 hours after birth on 1/18/05. 

So far we have made it through the first two holidays (Halloween/Thanksgiving), now we just need to make it through Christmas.  It definitely is not easy! But, we will make it through.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your sweet Athena and Nathaniel. Welcome to the board. The ladies here are wonderful. I hope you find the same comfort here that I have. The holidays are especially hard (((Huge Hugs)).

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet babies Athena and Nathaniel. This is our first holiday season since we lost our son who lived for 15 hours on November 9, 2012. I am just hoping to push through and get them over with quick so at least I will have survived my first Holiday season without our baby.

I'm so sorry for the losses of Athena and Nathaniel. I'm sad you're her, but welcome. I hope this board will be helpful, especially during the holidays as they are so difficult.
