Washing diapers with snaps

Do you keeps the snaps snapped or unsnap them? I was thinking the snaps might pull if still snapped...but wasn't sure...

That's what I figured...then thought I read somewhere someone said they snapped them (though, this may totally be pregnancy brain).

Are you talking about the adjustable rise snaps or the ones that go around baby's hips?

I keep the rise snaps snapped and the hip snaps unsnapped.

I unsnap everything and figure it is cleaned better that way--and dries more quickly
