Gianvi Reviews (Generic for Yaz BC Pill)

Hey fellow Bumpers, 

So, it is that time for me to get back on birth control. I am 5 weeks PP and had my check up today. Prior to pregnancy I was on Yaz and didn't seem to have any problems. My OB asked if that's what I wanted and I said sure since that is the only BC I have ever used. She told the pharmacy that generic was ok, and they are wanting to give me the generic Gianvi. My insurance covers the 3 month refills completely so it will be at $0 cost to me vs if I try and get the brand it will be about $95 for the 3 month refills. I've always been one to go against generics, I have no idea why..that's just how I am I guess...so when I see that its $0 vs $95 I'm seriously considering the generic.

Have any of you taken GIanvi and had good responses to it? I've read some pretty bad reviews about weight gain (not like I need any more after the pregnancy, HA!), mood swings, and bad acne. But, I do know that every body is different and reacts differently to the hormones. I just wanted some of your opinions! Or if you have a BC Pill that you love, please share!!!
