swaddle me

Does anyone out there use the swaddle me?  I have three and my LO is just over 10 lb.  The small/med is supposed to fit up to 14 lbs but it's too small for here.  The next size up is too large.  I hate using blankets as I just can't get it right.  Does anyone else find that these run on the small side?  Does anyone recommend the swaddle sacks?  I am afraid to spend the money and find the same problem?

Same issue with my 10 pounder. I have a couple of the larger ones and am using those.

Hmmmm.. DD is 12 lbs, and we don't have issues with DD fitting in the S/M. Where is it too small on her?

I haven't noticed any size issues (DS is probably around 10.5lbs) but the swaddle me is AWESOME. The first night we used it, he slept 6 hours straight!

I am using the small one and it says it goes up to 14lbs, my son is 14lbs and is just starting to be able to break it open. I haven't seen any larger size ones yet though.

I have 2different swaddleMes and they said they were the same size, but 1runs smaller I've noticed.  (It's smaller in the wrapping of the torso.)  My nephew was only 8 lbs. and his swaddleMe was small too.  Have you tried not making the Velcro meet exactly on the pads, offsetting it could help loosen it up.

Get a halo sleep sack swaddle. They're much better. And can still be used as a sleep sack with the arms out

It wont wrap around her torso.  gonna use the larger one.

I do a crappy swaddle with a blanket and then put the swaddle me over that. I do it because she's a wiggle worm, but it should help the added room as well.

I had that exact issue. I ended up going with the Halo Sleepsack and the Miracle Swaddle.

I've noticed this exact thing.  We have five of them--2 are a bit small and 3 (came together in a pack) are a bit large, even though they're all marked as the same size.

Do you have the cotton ones or microfleece ones?  We have 2 cotton and 1 fleece.  The 2 cotton ones shrank and DS doesn't fit in it anymore (he's ~ 10lb), but the fleece one still fits (and fleece stretches more).  Not sure if we'll buy the larger size swaddlemes; I have a small Halo swaddle (13lb - 18lb) which I just washed.  Will try that on DS and see how that fits.  If the halo fits, I probably will get a few more of those instead of swaddlemes.
