Who did you have?  Are you doing weekly or 5-2-2-5?

    Thanks! We had Judge Gibbons and she was great. I really hope that the co-parenting classes make a difference. We are not sure of the exact schedule yet as DH was giving BM time to process the news yesterday. He proposed a 2-2-3 so our lawyer said it will either be that  or something close since I am sure BM will not want to go 5 days without seeing SD. The lawyers are hammering out the details.

    I believe Gibbons is the one that made the Dad remove his blog that made national news!

     

    So glad it worked out for you and DH - good luck keeping BM in line.  We still have problems even though our CO is defined down to times and dates!

    Thank you, we know things will be rocky for awhile but just hope co-parenting classes really help and we can all work together or get along.

    We had (or have, not sure how long this "break" will be) a 2-2-3 and like it.  However, unlike most where its parent A mon, tues, parent b gets wed, thurs then parent A gets fri, sat, sun and then it flip flops the next week, we ALWAYS have Mon and Tues, BM always has Wed and Thur.  SS was the one that decided it wasnt going to rotate like it did before and its kinda nice that we ALWAYS know Mon and Tues and no having to count out days and weeks to figure something out on the calendar.  However, SS is 11 so I think he is older than your SD.

    Yeah my SD is only 5 but that is good idea, that way your SS always knows who he will be with those days. That is something to consider, I`ll bring it up to DH. Thanks.

    I have a question, and I really hope this was addressed in Court: what about extracurricular activities?  I know your SD is still pretty young, but was it mentioned how these activities would be handled?  Since BM is still so upset right now, I wouldn't be surprised if she is either completely unwilling to discuss extracurricular activities or deliberately enrolls SD in a bunch of stuff to mess with the new arrangement....
