How many naps is g taking now?

I feel like we might be ready to cut the third nap but I'm scared!!
Oliver just started refusing the third nap. Dunk takes it but then wakes super early in the morning ready to play.

Anyone else reading? Do you remember when you jumped from 3 naps to 2? What were the signs LO was ready?

3 NAPS?  Is that including the nightsleep?

J sleeps from 7.30-ish in the evening until 7-ish in the morning and takes a nap from 12 to 2.30 during the day - so nothing more.. We stopped 2 naps during the day when he started in a new DC that did not let them sleep twice. Worked out fine once he got the rythm of a longer sleep during the day

Hehe. I should clarify. Duncan is 7 months old. He's our second babe. Oliver is our toddler and he's about to drop his only nap.
Eta: just read my first post and it sounds like I mean Oliver just now is refusing his third nap... But I meant just on the sense that he was straightforward about needing it anymore, whereas I can't figure out what dunk needs.

Sorry I didn't get to this yesterday. I worked all day, dropped the kids off, went back to work for some training then came home and crashed.

Anyway, G is still really unpredictable with her naps. Sometimes she wants to catnap all day, usually four 20-30min naps. Other days she takes two 2hr naps. And on other days she takes three 1hr naps. She is pretty flexible though so if we have to be out and about she's ok and adjusts her naps around that, same with DC since she doesn't sleep well there.

I think since I'm not working a bunch right now it hasn't been a big deal but I need to be better about getting her on a schedule. Actually the other day I was thinking to myself that O was already doing two naps at predictable times at this age and I need to get to that point with G.
