Cloth Diapering

Cloth diaper service and disposables ?

Hi so I wasn't planning on CDing the first few months so I have already stocked up on disposables, however my mom has offered to pay for a CD service for me and how can I refuse that? So my question is should I order less cloth if I am going to use a combination of CD and disposables (since I already have the disposables and don't want to waste the money). Or does anyone have a better suggestion?

My options for ordering cloth are 80/week, 70/week, 60/week, or 40/week-4weeks.

Re: Cloth diaper service and disposables ?

  • I would go for the 80 a week...we go thru a ridiculous number of diapers a day, even at two months.  If you find that you're not using that many can you just change it for the following week?

  • Just wanted to say you could always return the disposables and put it toward something else.  My understanding is Walmart will give you store credit, even without a receipt.

    Or donate the disposables.
