My dh has been asking off work so much for IF stuff plus the holidays and he is not going with me to the transfer tomorrow. My mom is coming instead at least. But is that even ok if he isn't there? I mean technically his part is done, but would there be a reason for him to really need to be there (other than the fact that typically it would be nice for him to present when his wife is getting knocked up...haha)?

DH and I had this discussion in the event it would make more sense for him to stay home with DD and someone else to take me to ET.  The main reason I wanted him to be there was for the discussion about how many embryos to put back. 

You may think you already have your answer, but it could change based on what the embryologist/RE have to tell you about the status of your embies.  DH was able to go today, but we had decided that at the very least, we would want him to participate in the embie conversation by phone, since it's a very important and personal decision.

But, I think it would be fine as long as he is accessible by phone.  I had to sign something, but DH didn't have to.   

GL!  I can't wait to hear how many you transfer and that it went great!!

Ok great!  I figured I would tell him to be on stand by just in case I need to call him.    Just needed some reassurance!

Should I have heard a call today about my embies?  Think they would have froze them today or would it be tomorrow if either of them have hung out this long? I am not hopeful, but curious.  It will be hard to know we have nothing frozen as a back up.

Jeanna raised another good point: paperwork.  I'd call first thing in the morning to ask if he needs to sign something.  DH had to sign off on the specifics of what we agreed to transfer today.  I'm not sure how they would have handled this if he wasn't there, and since I'm hoping we won't need another ER/ET, it didn't occur to me to inquire.

Last time I didn't get a call either, although, as you know, we had none that made it to freeze.  I think (but not sure) that the nurse said I should have been called regardless, but I got the impression calls about frosties aren't a high priority.

That reminds me, I need to remember to call them Friday to get an update if I don't hear back about mine.  They can watch them until day 6, as they are in my case, so I wouldn't be overly concerned just yet that you didn't hear anything today.  It can't hurt to call tomorrow if you're really curious. 

In my case, I'm not expecting any, since I didn't get any last time, so if I do, it'll just be a little lagniappe for my cycle.  Even if I do get 1 or 2, I would likely require another fresh cycle, so I'm not really concerned, other than idle curiosity, at this point.

Oops..my computer is spazzing out apparently and it won't let me delete those.  Anyways, no insight here!  Was going to say that is a good question...I was curious how long it took to find out if there will be any to freeze.

I find it insane to think you won't have any to freeze!  I will probably call by 10am if I don't hear in the morning.  I think they check them pretty early in the day from what one nurse told me.  I just want to know and have one more thing be not in limbo.   5 days till POAS starts....crazyville!
