Hi, New to the board - Palestine Polar Express ?

Hi Ladies,

I am new to the board and thought I would post my first question. My MIL wanted to take her grandkids on the Polar Express train ride in Palestine, Tx. Its half way for our family and my BIL's family. My children are 2 and 4.

The drive looks to be about 1.5 hours away. Our plan was to drive that way with enough time to let the kids play at a park before putting them on the train to sit for another hour. I have never been to the area as was wondering if anyone know of a play park close by?

Also, if you have gone on the Polar Express train ride, I am up for any advice, tips, etc...
