daycare suggestions

Hello ladies. I am currently 4 months pregnant and wanted to start researching daycares. I live near the airport but work in decatur close to downtown. If you ladies could provide me with suggestions of good daycares that i can start researching i would be forever grateful. I have no clue where to start.

Also if you dont mind can you tell me how much youre currently paying weekly for a daycare or nanny? Im wondering which is more cost efficient. Thanks for your help!

I live near the airport and there are a few good options here that are much less than what you'll pay in town.

• Little Linguists in East Point
• Discovery Montessori in East Point
• The Learning Academy of College Park
• Little Flyers in College Park

 

I have two children at The Learning Academy and we've been there for four years. Infant room is $200/wk.

The Montessori school is a bit more and has a wonky schedule. They're closed about six weeks of the year for various breaks. My nephew is there and loves it. He's 18 months. Feel free to email me at bikegroupie at hotmail dot com if you want more details.

Little Flyers is at my office and we used them for both kids as infants. Love the baby room! Alas, the drive proved to be too much for the kids plus they had some transition issues with new owners a couple years ago that really irked me so we switched them to a center closer to home in Acworth. I think that they have recently switched owners again but I can tell you that this center is better now than I've ever seen it. My kids still drop in sometimes and we're always happy. The chef is awesome and its a federal building so security is top notch. Email me if you have more questions... slwprincess at gmail dot com
