Last Friday I noticed that DS has a thin dark line down the middle of each of his 2 front bottom teeth. I had never seen them before. Has anyone's kids had something similar?
I asked our pedi about it at his appt on Monday and he asked if I brush DS's teeth (yes, everyday) and if he goes to bed with a bottle (no, never) or if we have a history of dental issues in our family (unfortunately, yes). He suggested I take him to the dentist so I am planning to call and get him an appt. I feel guilty like I did something wrong, but I don't know what I could have done. Also, our insurance open enrollment closed last week and we opted not to get DS dental insurance until next year Ugh, I wish we had put him on the plan this time!!
Re: Lines on teeth?
No experience sorry! Hope it's no big deal though.
Honestly though if this is just like a he will go in for an exam and they'll be like don't worry about it, or there is nothing to do, then I bet what you pay out of pocket for one visit will be less than what it would have cost to put him on your plan. Just a thought.
We do have fluoride in the water as far as I know, maybe that does have something to do with it!

I'm sure this is true! It's just the irony of the timing of it!
