Any mothers on here have to use IVF? I'm 38 and just had my son Brooks 16 months ago thru IVF.. We had success our first ET...

    I did.  I am 39 and had DD 6 months ago via IVF, and just had ET today for IVF #2 in hopes of giving her a sibling.
    10/10: Married; 5/11: Dx: Blocked Fallopian Tube; 7/11: D&C/Hysteroscopy to remove polyp
    IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12
    IVF #2: 11/12-12/12: ER: 20R, 20M, 16F, 4 Frosties; 5dt: 3 blasts, DS born 8/9/13

    Good luck :)!!! My twins were from an FET after one failed fresh transfer at age 34.

    I was also successful with my first ET (at age 37). We have 3 frosties which will hopefully give us a sibling some day.

    IVF #1 ET 1 d3 embryo 10/30/11 BFP
    3 Embryos frozen (1 d5, 2 d6)

    DS born 07/29/12

    FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

    FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP :(

    Can you tell me a little about how the FET works?  I have my beta this week, but if it's negative, I'm hoping to go to FET next, since we have 4 frosties.  What's the timeline/protocol like, and how many of your frosties survived tehe freeze?  I put back 3 this time, so I'm wondering if having 4 will be enough to thaw.

    I didn't have any frostys : so now I have to do everything again but it is so worth it! Goodluck everyone I know how nerve racking it can be!

    I was actually asking amandaleigh, but I realize she hasn't gone through FET yet either.  I got a faint BFP today, so hopefully it won't be an issue for us!
