May Be Pregnant?

Hey all! I just joined, because I have an issue, and I need some advice.. My husband and I are newly married, and aren't exactly planning on having kids for another year.. but God may have other plans..  I have been on Birth control for a little over a year now, and have been taking it correctly. My hubby and I have talked about it, and since reading some information about BC, I will not be taking it anymore. But that is beside the point right now.. The reason why I think I may be pregnant is, I have been nauseous almost every day for a week. (It isn't the stomach flu) I haven't thrown up at all, but even when I am sick, I never throw up.. but the nausea is awful.. I get heartburn with everything I eat, and am a lot more tired than usual. Last week, I was on the blank pills of my bc, and didn't have a period. So, on Saturday morning, I took a Pregnancy test that I bought at the dollar store (reliable?) and it was negative... I don't know what is going on.. Could I still be pregnant? or am I just going overboard? Would love to hear everyones input! Thank you! Amber

  • Glad I gave you some understanding.. FYI, as stated above, this would be my first baby. Thus, I am a little new at taking the test. A little slack... thanks.

At first I thought you had a child already named meis and then I was confused as to why you were saying this is your first child.

Then I re-read your subject line and I realized that grammar eludes you.  So I'm going to answer your question:

I don't give you permission to be pregnant.  Once you have achieved a simple understanding of your native language, you may reapply.

  • I PPH you, Balls.

You failed to apply for this privilege, but since you actually ARE already pregnant, I suppose the rules don't apply to you.

    Speaking of---31 weeks?  SERIOUSLY?!?!

  • Woohoo, no rulez 4 meeeeee!

I know, 31 weeks.  It's ridiculous how fast this has gone.  I'm so distracted by DD that I have to login here to remember what week I'm on.

  • Many posters on TB suggest that you take a HPT once a week until you get AF.  If you reach 60 days with no period you can call your OB.

  • It's possible that you are pregnant and it was just too early too show up on a test. If I was you, I would wait for a few days and test again. If you are no longer using BC and want to avoid pregnancy, then you might want to look into other methods. Perhaps barrier methods or learn about NFP.
