had my a/s today, not good newsm

I'm laying on my back in a hospital bed, my cervix is funneling and shortening. I will see a MFM tomorrow and a possible cerclage. Baby A is a handsome boy and baby B is a beautiful little girl! Hope I don't get to see them for another 15+ weeks!

    Congrats on the b/g twin set!

    Sorry you're having issues with your cervix and I hope they're able to help you keep those babies baking for a very long time!!

    It's good to see more of an update here from you, the post on TN didn't have much. Congrats on team purple! Sending lots of T&Ps your way they are able to come up with a good plan to keep your little guy and girl in there for much longer....

    Congratulations on your baby boy and girl! We're having b/g also and feel so incredibly blessed.

    I had a prophylactic cerclage placed at 10 wks (which I've now learned is not normal at all) but thank goodness I did b/c we've made it to 37+ wks. I've yet to hear someone say that a cerclage is a bad idea...however many docs aren't advocates for them but if your doc is and if it means keeping those babies in there as long as possible (and your cervix hasn't shortened too much) - do it! TOTALLY worth it! Let us know how it goes, please!

    I'm sorry you are dealing with that!  Scary stuff.  Praying they can give you a cerclage and you have a successful as very long time on bed rest!

    I found out about my funneling, shortened cervix at my anatomy scan too (21.5 weeks).  I had a cerclage put in the next morning and here I am 10 weeks later 31.5 weeks preggers.  Good luck!  and congrats on being a fellow Team Purple!

    Sorry about the cervix news. Good luck on keeping those babies in a lot longer with the cerclage.

    congrats on the b/g twins!!! i too have b/g twins...it's soooo much fun!  i had a funneling cervix and a cerclage put in at about 21 weeks or so and then put on modified bed rest (no work...woo hoo!!!) and had my babies at 35 weeks.  good luck to you!!!
