CK used to LOVE to go for long runs in the BOB. Lately, however, she lasts about 15 minutes before she starts pitching a fit. I've tried toys, snacks, etc., but nothing will keep her content. It's driving me CRAZY because my only time to run during the week is right after I pick her up from school, and now I dread going because it's a whole start-stop-start-stop-try-something-else-to-get-her-to-shut-the-eff-up routine.
Anyone else? Any suggestions?
Also, Colleen (just because I know you'll read this), did you ever get/try the Bundle Me?
Re: Question for runners...
Of course I read it! I didn't get the Bundle Me yet. I was just thinking about it yesterday actually. I never made it down to BRU, but it is on my list of things to do!
Sharks had suggested stroller books, so I ended up getting one and she loves it! I didn't get the snack tray for the BOB yet, but's on my list as well.
Honestly, I bring a binky with me in case she throws a fit. She doesn't always, but sometimes at the end of a long run she will get antsy and start wriggling around and crying, and we are still 1.5-2 miles from home, so the binky calms her down until we get back. I know I can't use that forever, but right now I've still been giving it to her at the end of our runs. It's the only time she still uses it and it's been a last resort sort of thing.
