I have a serious question: what mascara do you use? My grandmother sells Mary Kay so I usually buy their ultimate mascara, but I needed new and was at WalMart yesterday and bought Maybelline's Mega Plush. This brush is so weird and I don't feel like I have any mascara on. So what kind do you use?

I use CoverGirl lashblast fusion waterproof mascara in black/brown. I don't love it, I don't hate it. I think it works well and the brush keeps my lashes separated. I always stick with it because I am afraid to try something new and end up hating it and wasting the money. I use waterproof because I have watery eyes. I never get smudging with this.

I use Cover Girl lash blast fusion. The one in the purple tube. I think it works pretty well for a drugstore brand. It coats well with minimal clumping, and never flakes. Edit: to change brand name, cause I didn't have coffee before typing this.

I have been using Maybelline Falsies mascara for about 6 months now and I really like it. It's easy to build for a more dramatic effect, but even just a coat or two gives you nice full, curled lashes.

I love 2000 calorie Max Factor.  They stopped selling it in the states, so I purchased tons and am living on my stash.  The only other brand that I've tried and liked was Dior Showstopper.

I use this one too and like it.

I get a lot of freebies when I buy makeup from Clinique or Lancome so I usually use the freebie mascara. I have used Great Lash by Mabelline in the past and like that too. My biggest issue is that I tend to get smudging no matter what I use so i have started to apply Clinique's mascara primer first and that seems to be helping.

I used to use Maybelline, but I wasn't in love with it. It often smudged and I would look like a bit of a raccoon by the time I got home from work. I just got a tube of "They're Real" by Benefit and I really like it. If I remember correctly, it wasn't too expensive. I'd rather pay $15 for something GREAT than $8 for something so-so. And I'm dirt-freaking-poor, so that says a lot.

I have "high end" and "low end" mascara.

For high end I like Lancome Defincils and Josie Moran.

For low end I use Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume and Maybelline Define-a-Lash
