First hospital admission since NICU :

Our 25 weeker is going to be 4 this January. We have been struggling with some cold symptoms for weeks. We finished a round of antibiotics for a diagnosed sinus infection, then 4 days later the symptoms came back with a vengeance. Since the weekend, we had 2 ER visits and a Pedi visit to end with ambulance ride to the same hospital as our NICU. Final diagnosis is RSV. I thought we were in the clear with DD's age, but not so. I lost it at the ambulance. It was a Mobile Intensive Care Unit just like the day DD was born. I hate this place, but DD is looking better. Praying for a speedy discharge. Appreciate good vibes my way.

    Praying for your DD to get well soon!  Sorry you are going through such a scary thing.
    Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

    Cameron Jacob (CJ) came early @ 25w4d on November 16, 2012 due to placenta abruption and incompetent cervix . Weighing 1lb 15.5oz, 14 inches long.

    Thank you for the well wishes.  We are home tonight.  We are enjoying our bedtime ritual and looking forward to everyone getting some sleep.  I hate RSV, for the record.
