That depends on whether or not you're anal about rinsing. Newborn poop is water soluble so you don't need to spray it. I always rinse my poopy diapers if they're going to be in the pail longer than 24 hours. That's my personal preference, though.

After 2 in CD?s I?ve never had a sprayer.I just soak, dunk and swirl in my laundry room potty.If some remains I rinse it in my utility sink.It?s your personal preference if/when you want/need one.If we had one it might be used as a weapon to drench siblings, dogs or daddy.LOL!
