What's your favorite cut of beef?

I'm not a huge fan of steak, I'll eat it but I definitely don't eat it often enough to be familiar with the cuts.

I enjoy pretty much all steak, but my favorite's gotta be filet mignon.

I have no idea. I love steak, but I don't really know how to cook it, and it tends to be more expensive. We also don't go out to eat very often. I had filet mignon once, though, and it was quite scrumptious!

Prime rib for a roast!
We buy mostly striploins because they go on sale quite often here in the summer. Once in a while I will splurge and get bacon wrapped tenderloins. Yummmmmmy!!

Filet is my fav.  We buy a huge cut of it at BJ's for about $200 and get it cut.  It lasts forever!  I think I might have to take some out of the deep freezer for tomorrow. YUM.

I actually know a lot about steak from working in a steakhouse, but I don't buy or cook steak that often. I prefer not to buy it from a regular grocery store. We prefer to get steak from a specialty butcher. The filet is the most tender, but the strip steak has more flavor. The ribeye probably has the most flavor because of the marbling, but I would rather have a leaner cut of meat. I can't remember the last time I even ate a steak, but now I want one.
