What's your favorite thing to make in a crockpot?
I usually make beef stew or throw a pork tenderloin, mild jalapeos, can of beer, some BBQ sauce in there for easy pulled pork.
But I am tired of doing the same things. I like stuff that I can throw in there raw and not have to cook before putting it in the crockpot.
Anyone have good recipes?!
Re: Recipes....
I toss a package of boneless, skinless chicken thighs into the crock pot with a package of chicken taco seasoning and about 1/2 jar of my favorite salsa. Makes for very easy tacos - just toss some meat into a tortilla with your favorite toppings.
I also recently discovered that you can cook frozen ravioli in the crock pot. Just throw it in frozen with a jar of marinara sauce and a bunch of cheese and cook for 6~ish hours on low. It tastes better this way than boiling it and then adding the sauce.
I'm a big fan of chili - so chili in the crockpot is a staple round these parts.
And I made chicken mole in the crockpot a couple weeks ago that was so good and easy, it's back on the menu for this week.
Otherwise I use my crockpot a lot for tacos - carnitas, chicken, barbacoa, steak.

FYE: I also posted "Favorite Crockpot meals?" On my FB, except autocorrect changed it to "Favorite CockPot meals?" I am dying laughing! I kept it up but reposted a status saying CROCK, but also mentioned my previous post was still up for a good laugh. Gotta love autocorrect! So funny!
THAT is awesome! Check out skinnytaste.com - she has some great crock pot meals.
