What is making you smile these days?

At our house, it is finding the various things that make DS laugh. He is picky about what he finds funny, so it's always a guessing game. DH and I will act like the two biggest goobs on Earth just to make that kid giggle.

I'm also smiling today b/c DS (kind of) let us sleep in this morning. Woot!

Our bath time song make us smile every night. We sing as we get DD and her bath ready. It is to the tune of bad boys from the show cops. I am not sure how we ended up that since we don't watch the show. DD loves the song!

I also find old mcdonald has a horse hilarious since my SIL wants to be called auntie nay nay.

DD is discovering consonants, it is so cute!I It makes me smile every time.

LO has discovered how to completely soak the entire kitchen during bathtime which is funny in itself, but the amount of concentration he puts into it is absolutely hilarious. 

Im seconding PP with the amount of time LO is giving me during the day with our awesome new sleep schedule!

The way DS plays on his excersaucer! He spins around and gives each station his couple second attention and keeps doing it like its a race or he's being timed. And the look of concentration on his face when he does it. Then when you call his name he looks up at you an gives you the biggest smile then back his concentration on his excersaucer.

Oh, Starbear, you reminded me of my other new favorite thing...cereal smiles! DS will be super focused on eating, and out of the blue he will grin like he got a bite of chocolate chip cookie. Love!

LO played with his dog today. We got a cocker spaniel puppy while I was pregnant and he was specifically for LO. Chester loves him and lays beside him all the time, but today they actually played a bit. LO was rubbing his feet on Chesters chest, and chested would lick his toes, then LO rubbed his feet on him again and Chester licked him again. LO just laughed and laughed.

DD has finally started giggling more - she's so stubborn that she totally refused to before! She also played on her own for a good while today, which is a rarity for her!

Oh and I finally got a job offer, so that's pretty great

Haha I used to sing "bad boys" to baby girl too when she was colicky!  I have no idea why.
