Kids Multivitimins?

Do you give them to your kids? What brand? Did your pedi recommend them?

Re: Kids Multivitimins?

  • For Ds we did the flinstones. At 5yo we would give a half of one.
  • We do up target brand of gummy vitamins. Two a day. He's 2. Never talked to pedi about it, just got some and they are for his age group

Same here. I wanted a boost of Vitamin C during the Epic Cold of 2012, and he likes them.

  • Flinstones Gummies with the extra Vitamin C for immunity support. 1 a day. She's already been in the hospital twice in the past six months for MRSA, so I figure extra immunity can't be a bad thing... lol

  • I don't recall the brand but we are also using gummies.  He gets 2/day per the instructions for his age group.

  • I tried the My First Flintstone's but he didn't like them so we use the Gummy Vites now.

  • We just started using the My first Flinstones, although I have no idea what the difference is between them and regular. They don't seem any easier to chew or anything. I forgot to ask the pedi at his 2.5 year appointment but we asked at either 18 months or 2 years and he said they weren't necessary if he had a balanced diet. He has a pretty balanced diet, but it's not as good as it used to be in terms of veggies, so I just decided to pick some up for the first time a couple weeks ago. I didn't want to do the gummies because I know our dentist is not a fan.
