FF Question - Similac Sensitive

My DS is coming up on 6 months.  He has been on Similac Sensitive since 6 weeks old and we have had a lot of success on this formula. 

I recently bought Similac Go and Grow for babies 6 - 12 months.  He is having a lot of gas and fussiness so I'm wondering if I should switch back to the formula for babies sensitive to lactose?

I am wondering if he can just stay on the Similac Sensitive?  Anyone have any input on this?

have you tried adding gas drops? they help DD a lot!

Are gas drops like gripe water?  Or are they something different?

There is no reason that you need to switch formulas. Similac Sensitive is just as healthy as Go and Grow. If I was you I would switch back. You don't want your LO to be uncomfortable.

DD is also on Similac Sensitive.  She has been doing great with it and I never thought about switching.  I would switch back if the other one is causing issues.

It is not necessary to change formulas at 6 months.  The Go & Grow stuff is just a marketing thing.  Stick with the Sensitive if it's what works.
