PUPO!!

Yikes!  Never thought I would be posting this!  Thank you for everyone who has talked me to this moment!  Today at 10am we transferred what I am referring to our little rock star 9 cell embies!  What a pair and we are thrilled to say they are home again inside me!

To my other cycle buddies: nawlinsgirl, kimber and girlieface!  How many are yall transferring and when can we start talking about when to POAS or beta all the way??

My beta is scheduled for 12-14 at 9am!

So very happy that things went well today.  I know you've been stressing out, and I'm glad you are happy today!

No clue how many I'll be transferring.  I really don't want multiples this time.  I was okay with twins last time and then we would have been done, but really, really only want one this time.  We transferred 3 last time, and got DD, but that was because only one embie was truly great quality.  So, we'll see where we are on Wednesday and go from there, with much input from my RE, whose advice I continue to follow religiously.

I will definitely be POASing, no question about it.  I already inadvertently started testing out my trigger last night (see other post), and it should be gone today or tomorrow (I'll probably test it again tomorrow to be sure).  I don't have the patience to wait until beta, which will be 7:30am on 12/12.

Soak up the wonderfulness that is PUPO.  I'm looking forward to joining you in two more days!

I am jealous your beta is on 12-12!!!  I was thinking I might just POAS every day and save the strips to compare everyday!  I have the internet cheapys! Off to go test my trigger!  Haha!

That is a tough call.  DH and I really wanted 3 kids, we are scared of twins, but a small part of me wants them not 2 replace the ones we already lost, but to fulfill l some of the dreams I had for them.

First of all, I totally had to look up what the heck "PUPO" stood for.  Ha!  I like it!  I am so excited for you and can't wait to hear the results!!!!! 

 We are 95% transferring 2, assuming we have 2 to transfer.  We don't necessarily want twins since I have two boys from my previous marriage.  However, we have already had the "what if" talk and would be VERY pleased with a boy and a girl.  I would love a girl and my dh has the whole "carry on the name" thing going on.  Obviously, I really could care less at this point what I have or if I have twins or no twins...I just really REALLY want another baby. 

 My beta is scheduled for 12/14 also and I can go anytime b/t 730 and 9 to get same day results.  Seems like light years away!  Also, you can be assured that I will definitely be POAS because I have no self control whatsoever.

I was around the bump back when the IF board was just TTTC!  It took me forever to figure out what PUPO was and I remember thinking what a crazy thing IVF was.  DH and I were just talking today and IVF wasn't that big of a deal except the financial aspect.  Seems like it should be harder to "get accepted" into!  And we thought there was more to it.  Then again I look back and it was a lot, but really one day at a time its not horrible.

Hi ladies,
We are scheduled for a day 5 transfer and I am feeling pretty firm on transferring one, however I will keep an open mind to what my RE/embryologist suggest. My beta is scheduled for 12/15. I'm unsure about POAS. I do have the cheap online ones, but I kind of hate hpt now since everyone I have looked for a year and a half has only had one line.
I have to say after a year and a half of trying, countless baby showers and friends pregnancy, and failed IUI cycles, I feel at peace in a way. I guess it's because of PUPO which I also had to look up. I also feel incredibly thankful and have a new outlook on all things that I'm thankful for. This process has made me a better person. I also remember a time when IVF was another unknown world, and it's odd how things can quickly become a part of your routine, shots, blood work, ultrasounds, but as I said before I am better for it and will never look at a childless couple the same, or any parent for that matter.
