My 2 year old has had nonstop diarrhea for 3 days and had developed a terrible rash. Last night we put him in a disposable over night and lathered him up with our good ol' butt paste to help clear it up a little. He cried that he didn't want that diaper, he wanted his "booty" (it's what we call his night time diaper because it's so dang fluffy!). This morning he was going to a friend's to be babysat for 3 hours, so I just put him in a disposable w/ butt paste again instead of having to give her a crash course in cds. Again he cried that he didn't like his diaper. As SOON as we walked in the door to our house he ran to where we keep the CDs, picked out one of his faves, and brought it to me asking to be changed. I was seriously shocked to know he even knew the difference between disposables and cloth. That's one more mark in the "win" column for cloth!
ETA: AND in the 3 days he was in cloth with diahrrea he never once leaked out, but he's leaked through the disposables twice in the 18 hours he was back in them!
Re: We Love CD
Well... underwear is comfy... products for "that time" not so much...
I'm sure it's similar.
