Alright, so we've basically decided on Caelum for a first name now (pronounced KYE-lum). What middle names do you think sound good with that (our last name is Luckey)?
Names that have a meaning that match well with the meaning(s) of Caelum (1. heaven; sky; celestial --- 2. a sculptor's chisel) would be particularly awesome.
A couple we're thinking currently are:
Caelum Charles
Caelum Thomas
Caelum Skylar
Caelum Jasper
Caelum Altan
Caelum Cleveland
Caelum Draco
Caelum Erik
Caelum Constantine
Caelum Dante
Caelum Ethan
Caelum Khalid
But really we're open for trying out a lot of possibilities (from any originating language), so if you have any ideas of middle names that sound good with Caelum (KYE-lum) and/or have a meaning that brings in more depth to the overall meaning of the name, I'd be super grateful.
Re: Middle Names for Caelum
I agree that those two do flow well, but I also think that Caelum Jasper works well too and I like it a lot.

Caelum Rhys? (pronounced Reece, if you're unfamiliar) Rhys means enthusiasm, which I think is nice. Alternatively, if you're choosing the name because it makes reference to the night sky, you could go with the name of a moon, star, constellation, etc.
Edit: Just saw your post below about the name. If Caelum is already the name of a constellation, a middle name that also is the name of a moon/star/constellation may be a bit much. I still like Rhys with it though. I think it flows nicely and has a great meaning. I have also heard the meaning of Rhys interpreted as "fiery" (which is kinda the same as enthusiasm). But I think this meaning is especially cool with a constellation name!
It's funny you mention the name Rhys, because that's our first child's middle name (although we spelled it Rees because that was my great grandfather's name). If we hadn't already used it, that would definitely be our choice.
I also just re-remembered that I also had another great grandfather named Edward (who was an awesome person, trumpet player for a semi-famous jazz band), how does the name Caelum Edward sound?
Oh, that is funny! Caelum Edward sounds nice, and I really like the family significance. I think it balances out an unusual first name with a more traditional middle. BTW, I really like Caelum and its meaning.
