How reclined (if at all) is your convertible car seat and what kind is it? I have the Britax Marathon 70-G3 and it's definitely NOT fully reclined. My sister was trying to tell me that it DOES need to be fully reclined in the rear-facing position - but I didn't see that anywhere. So - how reclined is your rear-facing convertible carseat? TIA!

Ours are the same. There is a level and we have to make sure it's adjusted properly.
ETA - The seats we have don't have different reclining options. That sounds pretty cool!
Let me confuse you, mmmk?
Our Boulevard 70-G3 is fully reclined in my back seat. However, the angle she's sitting at (because of my rear bucket-type seats) is more like the middle recline position if you were sitting the car seat on flat ground.
Does that make any sense?

That's how our car is too. Our pedi recommended putting a foam pool noodle under the seat to correct it. Well we couldn't find a pool noodle. We found a foam block instead that my twin niece/nephew have that are like giant foam building blocks. We took it to the police department to get it installed and they recommended that we use the foam block.
