Now that I have your attention...

As we all know, I hate this time of year (we discussed this in another thread- no rehashing here). BUT I do have a love for houses decorated with lights.  My DD also shares this love and stands in our window and stares at our neighbors lights.

Thinking about the d-bag that cut the girls lights in a thread below- I was curious who decorates their house and if you do, post a pic of your handiwork. 

I would like to have a contest to see whose decorations kick as# the most.

Yeah, that was beyond rude.    We put up lights, but haven't yet this year.  We put up icicle lights around the roof, and a large snowflake at the roof peak.  It's nice to come home to.

We dont do lights and havent put up our tree yet

We have coloured lights strung across our front porch - they look happy and festive.

We have 3 trees on the berm at the far end of our driveway that have white lights on them.

In the middle of our driveway we have an inukshuk:

That I would love to wrap in white lights but there is no power outlet there (or anywhere near there).  So I am considering rigging a car battery to connect the LED lights to. 

Some of our neighbours have fantastic light shows going on.  Our house is hidden from the road so only us and our guests get to enjoy the handiwork.
