The last two nights R has gone like 4-5 hrs after a feeding in the late afternoon/evening which includes a marathon nap in his swing. I've always though you should let sleeping babes sleep, so I let him do it...but the last two nights he hasn't slept well at all. The most obvious thing I'm going to do is not put him in his swing around then....but what if he still thinks its bed time so early? Would you wake him and get him to eat on his regular schedule?

Congrats to my Labor Buddy SouthernBellaKS
When Alyssa was that young still know I let her eat and sleep on her schedule it is kind of consistent every day. Wen she was that young still know I don't let her go more than 2.5-3 hours. I would wake him also not let him sleep so close bedtime. Alyssa at that age would sleep a long time in her swing if I would let her. Around that age I started making sure at night it was dark during day she slept her room but I would wake her if she was sleeping for to long. I hope he starts sleeping longer for you.
