We got 11 yesterday, 5 ended up being mature, 4 fertilized and they want to do a 3 day transfer b/c we don't have enough back ups.  I am so heartbroken.  I just don't know how we can afford to do this again.  I know we just need one, but I thought having some frosties would make the 2ww and a BFN easier.  Now, it will be a lot more pressure.

I am not happy and Monday seems so far away. DH is being so sweet making us lunch and taking care of DS and telling me he loves me.  But my heart is sad, will I ever be pg again? 

TTC#1: 14 months on our own (did HSG, b/w, SA);
BFP on Cycle 14--TWINS! Identical twin boys stillborn at 19wks(1/9/10)
3 break cycles; took clomid 50mg, BFP #2 Beta #1 35, Beta #2 338!!! Owen was born 2/11/11! 
TTC#2: 4 cycles on clomid: BFNs
BFP #3: Cycle #5 100mg clomid; beta #1 21; beta #2 6=CP 
Cycle #6 break cycle TTC no meds=BFN
Cycle #7: 150 clomid+ovidril+IUI=BFN (switched to RE)
Cycle #8: follistem+ovidril+TI=BFN
Cycle #9 Forced break due to cyst
Cycle #10 follistem+ovidril+TI=BFN
Cycle #11 follistem+ovidril+TI=BFN
Cycle#12 Forced break due to cyst, went on BCP; did repeat HSG, Saline U/S
Cycle #13 IVF: Follistim/Menapur ER 11-30 11 eggs, 5 mature, 4 fertilized and 3dt on 12-3; BFN

Miracle Surprise BFP, EDD 10-1-15; saw HB great Betas, 11weeks lost baby MC at home
Moved forward with FET transfered solo frostie on 6-4-15, beta 1: 315, beta 2: 738, u/s showed one baby on track EDD 2-21-16

     DD #1 BFP 6-1-06 after 8 months of TTC

    TTC #2 since July 2011

    1st RE Appt 11/28/12 DX with PCOS, HSG and SA=Normal

    Feb 2013-June 2013, 3 TI cycles and 2 IUI cyles with Letrozole, Ovidrel, and Dexamethasone=BFN!!!

    July 2013-August 2013....taking a break and praying for a miracle

    Fall 2013...will attempt IUI #3 and then seek 2nd opinion if it's a bust too

    That's pretty much my fear too, but try not to stress!! It's out of your hands from here so just pray and/or hope for the best. My Dr pretty much prepared me this morning by saying that typically half of eggs will fertilize and then half of those will be good enough to transfer...just an average number. So, I may be right there with you. Gotta stay positive!
    TTC #3 (#1 for DH) since September 2011. DX: Unexplained infertility with possible cervical factor. May 2012 did clomid with IUI - BFN August 2012 IUI #2 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN September 2012 IUI #3 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN October 2012 IUI #4 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN November/December 2012 IVF/ICSI #1 Retrieved 12 eggs, 8 fertilized. Transferred 1 beautiful embryo and 5 made it to freeze. Got my BFP! January 2013 u/s showed empty gestational sac. FET cycle April 2013.  Transferred 2 5 day embryos.  BFP!!!!!  2 heartbeats!!!!  EDD:  12/27/13

    I'm sorry you won't have enough to freeze, but FX it won't be an issue anyway because you'll get a BFP!

    I'm so sorry you didn't get the news you were hoping for.  I can imagine how disappointing that must be.  FWIW,(and I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record) for IVF #1, I retrieved 12 eggs, 10 fertilized, and on day of transfer we had 5 to choose from and none to freeze, yet we got our 1 quality embryo, which is now DD. 

    My point is, try not to get too discouraged.  You have 4 beautiful embies growing away, and hopefully one will become your next LO.  I'll be thinking positive thoughts for you and your embies and sprinkling some miracle-gro on them for you!

    Dx PCOS Three cycle of Clomid- BFN HSG- clear 6/09-Follistim and HCG IUI on 7/7/09 BFN 7/09- Follistim and Ovidrel IUI on 8/11/09 BFP! beta #1-342 beta #2-717 Joey was born on 5/5/10 Trying for #2 since 6/12 6/12- Gonal F and Ovidel IUI on 7/10. BFN 8/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel. IUI on 8/10. BFN 9/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel IUI BFN 10/22 Gonal F, Menopur, Ganirelex 11/4 trigger 11/6 ER 14R 10F 11/11 ET transferred one 4AA embryo beta 11/20! BFP Betas stop multiplying . m/c at 5 weeks moving on to FET if my numbers ever get back to 0!

    It will all be okay! You will be pregnant again. 4 embryos sounds amazing. Stay positive and visualize your goal...sitting in the hospital bed, holding your sweet baby for the first time. TP

    I am having deja vu right now!  Sorry you are going through this but if it helps I am right there with you.  They did a day 3 transfer of 2 not great looking embies (20% fragmentation, grade 3 on scale of 1-5) on friday.  The two that weren't mature on retrieval that fertilized the next day are still in the lab and they will let me know on monday if I can freeze them. Monday can't come soon enough!
    11/02/10- DS Born
    6/2011- DH started chemo for testicular cancer
    9/2011- Remission!!!!
    6/2012- IUI #1 natural with HCG shot- banked sperm (BFN)
    7/2012- IUI #2 natural with HCG shot- banked sperm (BFN)
    -changed RE-
    11/13/12- IVF #1 Bravella 225/Menopur 150/Ganarelix, triggered with Lupron. 11/27- 8R/2M + 2 mature next day/ 4 fertilized/ 2 grade III with 20% fragmentation transferred back on day 3. No frosties. BFN. Boo :(.
    Plan: New semen analysis in January and #2 IVF hopefully with fresh sample in March.

    ((Hugs)) Just remember it does only take one. When I did IVF a few years ago I had only 4 fertilize and we transferred 2 and I did get PG although it sadly ended in a m/c but I did get pregnant. I have my fx for you.

    I remember reading your fert report and I need to take my own advice "all I need is one".  And YES Monday can't come soon enough.

    Thank you, I truly believe in prayer and I have all my prayer warriors out there praying for them...when one or more come together.

    I'm sooo sorry!  Big Hugs to you!

    I know exactly how you feel.... we only had 5 mature, 3 fertilized, and we transfered all 3 back in.  We also pay completely out of pocket, so if this doesn't work I don't know when and if we will be able to try again.

    Try to focus on the 4 that you do have, and hopefully you won't have to go through this again because you'll get your BFP.  :)

    Agreed!  I would just put those 3 day embies in and take care of myself!!  There is no reason not to be positive, while I understand your desire for better numbers, you may be 2 short weeks away from your BFP!

    BFP #2 6/2010, DD lost to     congenital heart disease, we are heartbroken.

    TTC #2 4/2011, diagnosed MTHFR, FVL
    Four natural cycles BFN; Clomid IUI BFN; Follistim IUI BFN;
    1/2012 IVF #1 BFN
    4/2012 FET BFP #3
    5/2012 7w1d u/s: anembryonic demise; M/C @ 8w.
    6/2012 found Stage II/III endo on laparoscopy, removed w/ laser.
    8/2012 IVF #2 epic fail: no viable embryos.

    Vacation, break, second opinions, on to new RE.
    1/2013 Surprise chemical pregnancy BFP #4 (break cycle), IVF #3 postponed.
    2/2013 TI w/ hormonal support, prednisone, aspirin, Lovenox, acupuncture gave us a miracle BFP #5!
    Heartbeat on U/S at 6w1d!     Baby,please stay!!
    Our miracle baby boy arrived 10/2013!  We are so in love!!

    10/2014 Surprise BFP #6
    Our second daughter arrived in May 2015!  We are so grateful!

    Ladies, yall (everyone) are so wonderful.  I need yall to hold the hope stick for me as it is hard to be hopeful right now. But I know we are not out yet.   If we get one sticky baby it will be worth every penny OOP and every drug side effect.
