Weekend plans?

DD is babysitting while DH and I go on a lunch date and do some Christmas shopping. It's going to be in the 50's today so we'll probably play outside with the children when we get home. And we're trying to organize a poker game tonight. The kids also have to make their gingerbread house which we'll do tomorrow before football starts. I think we are going to do a treehouse this year.

ETA:  No plans for tomorrow except the older girls have gymnastics at 4:45.

DS and I are going to the national zoo to see tigers.

Tomorrow, DH is home, so as soon as DS is in bed, I'm planning to jump him and make up for this week away.

We just chilled yesterday, watched Nemo and had pizza. DH works this morning so me and DS are hanging out. Gotta go to a craft store to get stuff to finish his advent calendar. Then tonight we have a Christmas dinner at Morton's from one of the specialists that DH refers to. Mmmmm

Tomorrow a trip to the aquarium and chilling some more. :

Home alone with the kiddo since Thursday while DH is working at a highschool football tournament.

We thought about going to a friend's house to hang out, but her kids have a stomach bug. We might go to my school because there is a holiday decorating extravaganza going on today as well as a school play, but it will just depend on DD's mood and nap schedule today.

At some point, we will most definitely go somewhere and spend some money.

Oh, and if I was a good wife, I would also do a little bit of housecleaning today before DH gets home later tonight. That's a big "if" though.

We are going to Old Town to see a parade of boats that are all lit up and Santa arrives on one. Should be fun.

Today it is rest and clean. Tonight is DH's Christmas party. It's going to suck. The 4 people near our age aren't coming, it's where I work and I can' drink. We might play Wii games? I am disappointed because it is usually kick ass awesome.  Coming home early might be a god thing because MIL will be here watching DS and after comments she made a few months ago I still don't want to see her let alone give her the gift of alone time with my child.

Tomorrow I am working the morning shift so I can get off at noon and go Christmas Shopping with DH. New ornaments and lights HOORAY!! Canadian Tire here I come. Then I am hoping to go to the Enchanted Forest  light display to make up for the lousy night this town put on last night.

Hanukkah shopping. We had Gymboree this morning and now it is nap time. When DH gets home from work around three we will be going out. We have to hit Barnes and Nobles and Target and maybe the mall. My parents are having their annual Hanukkah celebration at their house next Sunday, and with us both working it doesn't leave a lot of time to shop.

Hey, make sure you bring your phone! Last night went sideways for me, let's thread lock tonight. You can give us play by plays on the shenanigans. Lucky lady, CT has some awesome stuff this year, I was shocked! I'm going to dig up my CT money and head over to get more kcups. And peruse the decorations. Today is a Quiet cleaning day for me. T and E went with my mom to a WP tournament. T is playing and R is watching - E's po'd, she thinks she should be able to play up, but her squad doesn't play games except against their own squad in practice, like soccer does. what a goofball.

Just saw the Rockettes with some girlfriends. DH had Kiddo all day. Kiddo finally took a bottle from him without crying. Both the kid and DH are napping right now.

I have to work tomorrow.
