I also want to know, do we judge people who use moterized carts and not return them? Curious, how do those get back?

Neither. I put a leash on her and tie her to the cart so she can get some exercise.

In the seat.  Then I discovered the Ergo and abandoned the carrier all together. 

Or I left DS tied to the lamp post outside.

bring on the flames--I put the seat on the top (with my first child, anyway). It locked in and I had a hand on the cart at all times.

My second got the luxury of riding in the cart since my son took the seat on top.

Who needs the leash?  DD just runs wild through the store pulling stuff off the shelves while I grocery shop.

I think they have to be ridden back to the store.
