We won't be telling anyone the name. Everyone gets to know the sex of the baby and that will have to be good enough. I don't really feel guilty about not sharing the name. I think it should be a private decision that my husband and I make. To be perfectly honest there are a few family members who can be very pushy and we really just don't even want their opinions. So a secret the name will be.
We share boy middle name, because its a DH family thing. We don't share anything else, learnt our lesson with Norah. She was Mackenzie until she was born! We hadn't told anyone, lucky for us!
We are not sharing our name this time around and at this point in the game we can honestly say that we do not have a name. With DS we never had any negative feedback but DD was another story....my MIL went as far to send a baby name book to encourage us to pick another name.
I learned my lesson when I told a co-worker our boy and girl name and she turned her nose up at the boy name (we've since change it and not because of her). My DH and I are waffling on 5-6 different names right now for our LO and I told him that we should just wait until he is born and see which looks best on him.
