Still nursing?

If you are still nursing, how often is LO nursing and are you supplementing with water in a sippy if their liquid consumption has dropped?

I am trying to figure out what to do at daycare, DD still happily takes 12 oz over 8 hours, 4 of those are in a sippy at lunch.  She nurses when she gets up, after work and at bedtime as well as maybe once over night.  I am trying to decide if I should give her a sippy of BM at breakfast at daycare and drop her 1pm bottle and just nurse her when I get there at 3:30.  That would make her schedule look like this:

6am nurse

8am sippy of BM (4oz), breakfast - fruit, protein/grain

11:30 sippy of BM (4oz) lunch - vegetable, protein, grain

3pm - snack - fruit

3:30 nurse

5pm - dinner vegetable, protein, grain

6:30 nurse

Is this enough?

Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

That looks real good to me. I don't do bottles, so don't know how much she is drinking...but it is about every 3 hours still during the day (sometimes longer/sometimes shorter).

I think that looks good. I nurse DD 5 times a day now. I do give her a sippy cup of WCM with her meals, but she doesn't drink much from it. it's just for fun for the time being!

I'm still nursing.  I don't know how much he takes, but he usually nurses every 3 hours or so unless he's not feeling well or had a bigger lunch than usual.  Tonight, for example, he wanted to cluster feed before dinner and required an extra feeding to go to bed.

He gets water or WCM once or twice a day, but it's not very much.  Maybe 4 or 5 oz at the most.  If I can find a job, I plan to wean him directly to WCM, so I give him that moreso to let him be familiar with the taste.  He doesn't get juice.

I'm jealous of you all... just when the pain started to subside, at around 5 months, my supply started tanking.  Plus he weaned himself completely in August, and had no interest in it anymore.  He did play a game where he would chomp down as hard as he could with those little teeth, I would scream at the top of my lungs and he thought it was just hilarious...  I chalked it up to his daily "cause and effect" lessons haha.

I'm so happy for you ladies who are keeping up with it!!  I miss the days when he was a tiny little thing and I could nurse him to sleep...

I plan to wean ds but his first bday on the 28th so I mainly only nurse him first thing in the morning and a little just before bed. His dr said it was ok to introduce whole cow's milk cut with water about 6 weeks ago so I've been supplementing with that during the day. I don't know if its coincidence or not but since he's been drinking 6 oz of cow's milk before bed he no longer gets up during the night. I think it thicker and more filling.

DS is nursing in the morning (usually super early and then goes back to sleep for a bit if I'm lucky - so like 4:45 or 5.)

he gets about 9-10 oz in three bottles between 9am and 6pm.

I nurse him before bed around 7:15 and usually once overnight.

he gets sippy cups of only water with meals and snacks. Meals are breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks between.

DD still nurses. She gets three meals a day (all finger foods) and a water cup after each meal, though she doesn't drink all that much. Our feeding routine looks like this:

4am  Nurse (would love  to ditch this feeding, but she doesn't agree)

    7am Nurse

    8:30am Breakfast

    11 am Nurse

    12:30pm Lunch

    3:00 pm Nurse

    6:00 Dinner

    7:30 Nurse
