Names...

If our little one is a girl we have chosen the name Elaine (family name) and will call her Lanie. 

For middle names, which is your favorite?

Elaine Avery, Elaine Madison or Elaine Madeline?

Also... Would you spell it Laney or Lanie? Or some other way?

    I like Elaine Avery the best.

    seems like the spelling for a nickname is less important... I like the way Lanie looks but Laney seems more natural. So I guess I don't really have a strong affinity for one or the other.

    I love Elaine Madeline, but it really depends on which goes best with your last name.  For the nickname, I would personally spell it Lainey since that's how the name is spelled, just remove the E and add a y :)
