Sharp pain in breast

I'm 19 weeks and for the past few days I've been having these sharp pains in my left breast. They're on and off and only in the left breast.

Yesterday I had an echocardiogram (I have mild mitral valve prolapse and my cardiologist does an echo annually) and the ultrasound tech had to push continuously on my left breast with the ultrasound device (to look at my heart) for about 10 minutes straight. It hurt, but it had to be done Maybe she aggravated it?

 Anyway, I tend to freak out about every little thing so this pain is starting to freak me out a bit. I did notice tonight that my breasts have grown a lot. I'm starting to see the lovely blue veins appear on my chest and boobs. I plan to call my doctor in the morning to ease my mind, but I was wondering if this pain has happened to anyone else?

No need to freak out about sharp breast pains. I'm 2 days shy of 20 weeks with my second child and I'm having sharp pains as well. You're breasts are just preparing to start lactation soon. Hope this was helpful

I had it too but only on the right. My doctor said it was normal. Along with those dang sharp pains in the abdomen. Sorry you have this too.

I have a cyst in my breast that was detected in a mammogram and then an ultrasound right before I got pregnant. I am having the same sharp pains in the exact spot I know where the cyst is. Luckily it is benign. If it continues to bother you...maybe they could do an ultrasound of the breast just for peace if mind.

Happened to me also... while I was in my 19th week.... but it stopped after a couple days....
