Not that I'm complaining (though my boobs are) but isn't 6 weeks a bit early for Charlie to start sleeping through the night? Tuesday night she slept from 10:30 until about quarter til 5. Last night she slept from before midnight until 6:15!!! I could get spoiled this way but of course now I'm worried that it's too early and I should be waking her to make sure she's eating enough.
We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love

I knew I could count on you t keep me sane... as scary as that may seem ;-)
I kind if figured that was the case but I needed to hear it. She has definitely not had any gaining issues so far. By her 1 month check up she had gained 2.5lbs. I guess we'll just wait for her next check up and see how she's doing.
We also changed her bedtime routine and I wonder if she's getting better rest now. We used to not really have much of a routine. She would spend the evening dozing and nursing in my lap until I was ready to go to bed and hen I would put her in her crib if she was asleep or lay down and nurse her if she was awake then move her to her crib if I was still awake. Now DH and I have decided to kick her out of our bed and try to ensure some alone time for us in the evenings so I lay her down at about 9;30 with just a night light on after the big kids are settled into bed. She usually talks to herself for about half an hour and then wants to nurse. Then I lay her back down and we go through a couple cycles of her talking to herself then wanting rocked until she talks herself to sleep. (usually only takes 1-2 cycles)
