DH has a "more is better" attitude. If a little soap is good, than more soap will get things cleaner. If a little fertilizer is good, more will make things grow better. Today I am dealing with a little bleach is good, but straight bleach on the floor will make it cleaner. I am working from home today and I am sitting in our "office" in the basement. Yesterday DH washed the basement floor with straight bleach and didn't rinse it. It stinks, there is a film, and he was complaining about how horrible he felt last night, No *** dude, you only needed maybe a cupful in a bucket of water (like I have said multiple times). He gets all defensive when I have an opinion about how what he did is wrong. great, I am glad you washed the floor, but I really don't want my house to stink, my feet to be covered in residue and the finish to be stripped off the floor. I bought grub control for our yard that would cover 2500 sq feet-pretty much our lot. He only did about 100 sq feet and then told me he needed more grub control. Read the fing directions dude.
How do I illustrate the more is not better concept? Maybe I will triple the salt in the recipe for his dinner and see what he thinks.

Oh my we have the same husband.
Each stain on the couch has it's own bottle of Resolve on it. Maybe this will be the lesson he needs to change a bit?
If you figure it out let me know so I try with my husband. Thanks!
