TEETHING.....ugh.

So lets just start with saying that Lo was sick for the last two weeks and we finally fought it off but not without the help of amoxicillin. Well since the last two days lo has only been eating around 20-22oz a day verses his full 32oz. Also before he would get around six-seven bottles a day feeding 5-6 oz every 3-4 hrs. Now the last few days have been crazy!

 Overnight -

12am - 4 am -8 oz 

6am - 2 0z

Between 7:00am  - 5:00pm (while at daycare) only 9 oz

6:00pm - 4 oz

Right now he's napping. Usually he does great but its been like 1 oz feeding or 2 oz feedings and turning away not wanting the bottle.

Hands are in the mouth, blankets, teething rings, anything he can get to his mouth its in! No fever and he's been drooling alot!

Please send advice! Is your lo doing this? Have your other babies not ate the same or less because of teething? At first doctor thought amoxicllin needed to work itself out of his body and maybe he has a tummy ache as I took him to the doctor yesterday because of the same thing....not eating alot. 

Ped wanted to do a wait and see approach.... any advice though girls?

It's probably because clamping down onthe nipple hurts his gums. DS does this sometimes and swats the bottle away. Usually, if it's at that point, I give him some Tylenol or teething tablets and he feels better and is ready for his bottle afterwards.

We bought them at CVS though. They taste like sugar, DS loves them, and they work instantly. We bought them because every mom I know said they were little miracle tablets...and they are!

Lol, my kid doesn't know the meaning of the word "schedule." He has always been fussy and never naps, so no change, lol...sorry!
