DD is getting a play kitchen from us for her birthday. Since the rest of the family found this out, they bought her related gifts, like play food and dishes.
Should I give DD the kitchen first (we plan to assemble it the night before her birthday) and then let her open all the smaller, related presents? Or open the small presents first and then get the big present last?
I am over thinking this, I know. If it makes any difference, we are not having a party. Just cake and ice cream with her aunt and cousin, and then opening presents.
Re: Silly birthday present question
This!
Like have all the food and dishes out with the kitchen? I hadnt thought of that. She likes the ripping paper part of opening gifts - and some are already wrapped. Maybe I will just have the kitchen sitting out with the gifts on it.
I would assemble the kitchen set and wrap it if possible. And have her open all at once.
That makes sense - I know that she will have no clue that she is getting a kitchen even if she opens the play sandwich set first. I dont know why I am thinking about it so much. Probably cause I want to play with her new toys?
