Vibrating vagina?

Ok, this is super weird. Night before last, I was laying in bed and  felt a slight vibrating or buzzing sensation toward the lower part of my pelvis. It seriously felt like there was a phone sitting on the bed vibrating. Now I feel it off and on for a minute or so anytime I am sitting or laying down. Googling just said that it could be the baby laying on a nerve, but those women were much further along then I am. I have never felt or heard of anything like this before and it is so weird. I thought I knew all the odd effects of pregnancy! Has anyone else felt this before?

Re: Vibrating vagina?

  • I've felt a weird vibrating before, but it wasn't in my vag.  It was kind of over my hip and only lasted a few seconds.  I have no idea what it was, but I chalked it up to gas or the baby doing something weird.

  • Never felt that before, but it sounds exciting! :)

  • LOL now that I'm rereading this, I kind of wish my vag would just vibrate randomly.  Sounds nice... :-)~

Ha ha! That's what DH said! It's not strong enough to be "exciting", but that would be nice!

  • I have felt this in my hip area before and it was nerve damage from being pregnancy.I was in my late 2nd trimester/early 3rd trimester though.... However that was with my first daughter... I am already having some hip pain this time around.

  • This exact thing was happening to me a few weeks ago. Definitely like a phone vibrating! I also looked online and couldn't really find anything either besides something about the uterus stretching. I think it was that since baby was too tiny to be laying on a nerve or something like that.

  • I had this with my 2nd pregancy, on and off.  It was on one side and it lasted from 3rd tri through about a month after delivery.  I've had some already this time, but it hasn't been frequent.
