On Monday at 40w3d, OB stripped my membranes. I had spaced out contractions all day, but didn't go to hospital until midnight when they were 5 min apart for and hour and a half.
At hospital, I labored med free until 12 pm the next day when I finally got to 8 cm and had an epidural. At 2 my water broke, and at 3:30ish I started pushing. Baby was born at 5:12 pm.
I felt so lucky to go into labor on my own this time and have everything go perfectly. I felt great immediately after the birth. So much easier than my c section 18 months ago, at least for me. All the stress of researching vbacs and switching to a supportive doctor, and then waiting it out to go into labor was all so worth it in the end.
