Anyone else's LO have this? Jayson has it on the back of his neck. A post below brought it to mind.

I wouldn't even know what it was if two of my sisters kids didn't have them.

My son has one. My grandma and I both have one that never faded.

DS1 has one.  DS2 has one but it's higher up on his head.  Incidentally, I have one too that has never completely faded.

S has one on the back of her neck. My son had one there too that faded.

Amir had one as well. It's on the back of his neck. At first I thought it was a rash...my daughter never had one.

I am behind. What the heck is a stork's bite? Was it discussed in a previous post of what it is?

H has a few. He has a pretty prominent one on the back of his head, so I'm glad he's got lots of hair. He's got smaller, lighter ones on his forehead and nose that are already fading.

No it wasn't discussed. I thought I'd it because someone posted about neck rashes. They look kind of like a rash. Red or reddish purple patches that can be found along the hair line, or one the face. They are a birth mark that may or may not fade.

DD#2 has one on her forehead and right eyelid. both are fading a lot...can barely see the one on her eye.

Ds had one on his eyebrow that faded, he still has one on his scalp though.

I have one on my butt that never faded.

Evie had one on her forehead that completely faded, and one on the back of her neck that is fading.

I know doctors say "birthmark," but I'd love to know what really causes them.

No stork bite here, but about 2 weeks ago a Mongolian spot appeared out of nowhere. I had never heard of them.

Foster has three! One on the back of his head, one on the back of his neck and one on his forehead.

My DD has one on the back of her neck too. Didn't realize they were so common!

DD has 5. lol. DS had none. I think the ones NOT on the neck are sometimes called strawberry patches? At least that's what I've heard others call them. The ones on the neck are called that because that'd be how a stork would carry a baby haha. Not sure what the technical name is.

Anyways, she has a really dark stork bite on her neck, covered by hair. Then one between her eyebrows...which is now only visible when she's upset, one small one on the top of her forehead, one on the base of her back, and then one hidden in her hair on the top of her head. She has a lot of hair, so you can't see it.
