And "taint" or Channing did not come to mind when I read it, at all.

I actually think of the blonde actress who played "Tatum" in Scream. But I dont relate it to horror movies either, just think of the actress. And then of course the actress Tatum O'Neal.

It reminds me of Art Tatum, the jazz pianist, and Drederick Tatum, the Mike Tyson character on The Simpsons.  I totally do not get how this is a girl name.  I love Arden though.

Ok, I'm so thankful I'm not alone.  I'm not sure if it makes me think of taint, but there is something about Tatum that sounds dirty to me.  Always has.  And I swear, I am not the kind of person who is always coming up with slang sex connections or has my mind in the gutter.  But this name is just a name that makes me cringe.

I am 100% with you on this! It has always sounded dirty to me and just recently it made me think of taint so i figured that is what it has always reminded me of but I couldn't ever figure it out. I'm not a dirty minded person either! haha
