I know there have been several of these posts recently, but I wanted to get your opinions.
I just took DD to her 4 month appt. Her dr is out of town so we saw another dr in the practice. He asked when I plan on starting cereal and I told him never. My plan is to start with avocado and progress from there. He told me that I should do cereal first and start soon. He also said that in the bext few months, DD should br eating solids for breakfast lunch and dinner. This seems fast to me. My original plan was to start with avocado between 5 and 6 months. From there, intro other vegetables and then progress on to the fruits. The LCs that I have seen and articles I have read suggested waiting until 6 months for solids and not even bothering with cereal.
What do you think? Would you follow the drs reccomendation? What are you planning on doing with your LO?
Re: Solids
In all honesty he swallows more of the cereal than any of the other foods, but he seems to enjoy all of them.
Once he gets good at eating I will work him up to eating 3 times per day.
SCANDAL!
Anbeck I like how you pointed out that food is for fun not as a primary source of nutrition.
Thanks for the input ladies.
This. And I'm doing BLW.
This! Going to start around five months but we will see because Ped today actually made a comment that I should start soon,
