5 mo with frequent green poops all of sudden

DD has been having many green poops each day for the last 3-4 days. Prior to this she generally had 1 to 2 poops a day that were yellow in color. Over Thanksgiving, she went an unusual 5 days without a poop. Since then she has had 5-6 poops a day that have been green in color and left her with a very irritated bottom. Her mood is a little fussy as well. I know both teething and viruses can have this effect. How concerned should I be? Is there anything I can do in addition to treating the diaper rash and keep nursing? When would you call the pedi? TIA.

Hmm, she could be sick. One of the things DS was tested for when he started having green poops was rotavirus. I think they tested for a couple other things too. He ended up being MSPI but I think that's unlikely for your LO given her age. I'd probably take her to the pedi now.
