2yr old play date ideas?

Ok so I have a friend who wants to get together Sunday to hang out and catch up. It's just us and the kids and she has a 2 yr old. What can we do or where can we go that's good for him while we catch up?
I was thinking we get coffee and take it to the park so he can play but I'm not sure... Any ideas? :]

We have the color wonder paints and markers. When her friends come over, we set them up at her little playtable (3 bucks at a yard sale) and let them go at it. It's cute and entertains them for a while.

We have a playdate tomorrow too! I plan on making some play doh in the morning and getting out some cookie cutters..snacks then play doh sounds like fun to me!
