I no longer feel married.

H and I met at the bank and we had all the paperwork notarized.  We now have to wait 90 days, we have to go to a co-parenting class together (which I'm actually pleased for HIS sake) and then we're done.  By end of February it will be official.

Bankruptcy will be over in about 2 weeks too.

I feel strangely single again. As I watched H drive away in his truck, I thought how odd. He doesn't feel like my husband anymore.

It feels good. I am on my way to being own woman again.

That's pretty much how my ex and I did it too...was an even better feeling the day we went to court to finalize. Dec 12th will be 10 years (and today is my 8th anniversary happily married to DH!)

I am happy that we won't have to go to court.Ours is uncontested so there's nothing to settle.  We'll get official paperwork saying it's final. 

It's all pretty much a formality now.

Me too. And I am also glad he signed and did not drag it out, I am guessing calling his bluff and him getting caught made a difference there. You are a smart strong women, the next chapter will be great.
