So I did something really stupid on Sunday.  I stood on a foot stool to decorate the Christmas tree...and I fell.  I fell hard.  I landed on my side on the foot stool and bent my spine in half.  I immediately called my doc who told me to look for bleeding or cramping.  Well until today, I had none.   Now I am waiting impatiently for the nurse midwife to come check me out because I've been cramping all day.  If I lose this baby because I fell I don't think I could handle it.  I just pray everything is ok.  Whats worse is that I'm all alone because my husband is out of town.  :(  Scared and alone is not a fun combo.

    Hang in there -- thoughts and prayers headed your way.  Please come back and tell us how things turn out.  And PLEASE don't be so hard on yourself: accidents happen, to everybody, and it isn't like you were out doing sake bombs and running in traffic.

    Sorry you're going through this. My husband travels quite a bit for work, so I can imagine how much harder it would be. Talk to supports on the phone while you wait for your midwife. T's & P's your way!

    Oh yikes! T&P that baby is okay, thank goodness for extra padding and sock-absorbing amniotic fluid! I hope YOU didn't hurt yourself either! Just try to relax and let all that adrenaline simmer down... have a cup of tea and take it easy. Hope you doctor's office calls back soon so you can have peace of mind
